This one goes down as one of my favourite photo sessions ever. I can try to kid myself, but I am very much a city girl, having moved from NYC to Edinburgh. And these guys are city people, for sure. Yeah, no one will knock green space, but I so enjoyed hanging out in their flat and wandering around Stockbridge, grabbing a coffee, doing their normal Saturday thing, which was very much like our normal Saturday thing. Perfection.
As a photographer in Edinburgh, I end up spending a lot of time in various parks around town so I often suggest bringing a football or a frisbee with you to your photo session -- when your kids are a little older it give them something to focus on other than be photographed! And it allows your kids to just be kids and play a bit, with each other and with you.
