Emily and I met at the swing park (as you do) and I was delighted to have the opportunity to take photos of her beautiful family in their uber beautiful Edinburgh home before they moved back to the Big Smoke. It was down and dirty and quick and crazy and cold, and lots of fun. This session consisted of two sisters, their husbands and all their kids, who clearly get along quite well. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, I’m always happy to do a mini mini session if you’re happy to trek to my neighbourhood.

This is the first time I’ve been hired to take photos at a party but what a great idea! This was a super special 80th birthday celebration where a big family who lives all over the country got together to celebrate. Everyone was in the photos, with lots of candid shots and a few more formal portraits, and no one had to fuss with a camera phone and play photographer, because they had one….

The last time I photographed these girls, two sets of sisters who are all cousins, was three years ago. Since then another cousin - yes, another girl! - has joined the fun. We went back to Arthur’s Seat and as before, it didn’t disappoint. And this time we also had moms, dads and grandparents along for the ride, because the more, the merrier.
